“Controversial” Barcamp
Streitkultur

A Barcamp is an open-format gathering where participants create the agenda themselves, propose topics, debate, and share personal experiences. It helps people exchange ideas, find like-minded individuals, and collaborate on new projects.
This Barcamp was dedicated to fostering a culture of discussion around complex, pressing issues. Each participant had the opportunity to propose their own topic, engage in discussions, share experiences, and take part in practical mini-workshops on negotiation and presentation skills, as well as debates. It was an excellent opportunity to develop argumentation skills, learn how to engage in constructive dialogue, and meet people passionate about the culture of discussion.

Parliamentary debates
Participants will take on the roles of members of a mock parliament—representing the government and the opposition—and engage in a real debate on a current issue. The format is based on the principles of European parliamentary culture and helps develop skills in argumentation, logic, and public speaking. The final say will rest with the “citizens”—they will evaluate the positions of both sides and determine whose arguments were more convincing.
