Walks: Excursion through Friedrichsfelde
July 5, 2025

We held another walking tour through the Lichtenberg neighborhood of Friedrichsfelde, led by an experienced guide and our good friend Konstantin Rezuyev.

During the tour, participants discovered the distinctive features of the area and heard stories about everyday life and living conditions during different periods of Berlin's history. We stopped by pre-war buildings and GDR-era structures, discussed the lives of Berliners from the time of electors and kings through to socialism, strolled through allotment gardens, and visited the Zoo and the Palace of the first King of Prussia.

All participants were provided with headphones for comfortable listening, and the tour operated on a donation basis — each person could choose their own contribution. The walk lasted approximately three hours.
