So many classes, courses, and Sprachcafés around—and you still haven’t managed to join any? Does it all feel like extra work, and is your language level not always enough to participate fully?

We’re launching these meetups for you. Come play board games in German. You’ll need roughly an unsure B1 level of German to take part.

We choose conversational, social games where you can have fun and speak German.

For example:

• Activity, “Hat” (Schlappe), and Tabu — we explain or act out words;
• Wer war wo? (“Continue the story”) — together we keep a funny story going;
• Wer bin ich? (“Tarantinki”) — we guess a famous person by asking yes/no questions;
• Top Ten — we come up with answers on a scale, then try to put them in the right order;
• Einundzwanzig — we count in a circle up to 21 and gradually invent new funny rules.

We change and add games from meetup to meetup. The Spiel-Sprach-Café takes place every week.
