At a new location, in the spacious hall of the Bodo-Uhse Library, the next creative meeting of the handicraft club took place.
Beginners knitted a mini-version of the "Sophie" scarf, mastering how to cast on stitches, form a neat edge, knit with knit stitches, make increases and decreases, and finish the piece.
Alternatively, participants could knit a simple hat, slightly smaller than full size. The workshop showed them how to cast stitches onto the needles, join the knitting in the round, knit a ribbing, and finish the hat.
More experienced crafters also joined the gathering, enjoying knitting in the company of like-minded people and exchanging tips and tricks.
During the workshop, all participants were provided with yarn and knitting needles, a printed description with step-by-step instructions, and received help and support at every stage.
The workshop was a perfect combination of coziness, creativity, and craftsmanship.
