On June 19 at 18:00, we had an unforgettable evening of spontaneity, laughter, and creativity at our improvisation workshop — a place where there were no right or wrong answers, just loads of fun!

The workshop facilitator, Michael, shared his valuable experience in stage performance, which he gained in the youth group of the Gorki Theatre. Together with Michael, participants explored how improvisation works: without memorised scripts, without rehearsals, without pressure — simply by playing and staying in the moment. They came up with stories on the spot, played theatre games, and laughed heartily at whatever came out of it.

That evening, you didn't need to be an actor or have any prior experience to get a taste of improv. On the contrary, it was the lack of experience that turned out to be an advantage — no one was afraid of looking silly! Because improv isn't about being serious. It's about joy, freedom, and learning not to dwell on mistakes. Everyone was equal, everyone supported each other, and there was only one golden rule: say "yes" and enjoy the process!
